ParticipantIt’s actually laughable. He runs 2/3 WRers against 3/4 DBs. And not a ton of posts. DBs are all over this “scheme”
as mid as JM is. No one is open. Except that underthrown post route in 1st quarter

Participantidk how that’s CLRs fault
if you actually understood what was happening on a football field you would see JM has no one open. Thats not his fault.
he under threw two balls. He hit 3. He wasn’t the problem. the play designs were. -

KeymasterI think when you start a bowl with 2 starters on offense who are real starters. And have 1 WR playing who is in your 3 deep. Play your 4th string TE and your entire OL new. And your 3rd and 5th string tailbacks. Someone named James Johnson and Wormley?
You take what you can get. They got a lot out of Hines.
Not sure who they had on D but Graham was in there. Stephens. Bouchard. Meaning I don’t know how many starters or Two deepers played there either.
Hate bowls like this. And not sure if this is ALL teams dealing with this who aren’t in the playoff or if USC and Riley have a special sense of “if we aren’t in it we barely will show up” Maybe Notre Dame was right to see it and bail early

ParticipantNo he wins a lot actually. He owned Texas while in b12 I think.
his type of losing is harder to assess. He wins enough to fool you thinking he’s a play or two away from winning way more. You know what I mean?
I realize he kept losing in playoffs but he also got them there.
but yeah he’s not a super star
