Beat me to it. That is certainly a game changer. Good for USC. All these injuries and portal guys worry us, but man, losing your starting QB really is a difference maker.

I’m sure C. Dykes has a very good QB2.  I do not think it will affect their O dat much.  C. Dykes is like C. LR who knows QB’s, both come from C. Mike Leach Air Raid tree.  Remember when Caleb Williams did not play in the 2023 Holiday bowl vs, Louisville, QB2 Miller Moss killed it, passing 375 yds and record breaking 6 TD’s.  USC won big, 42-28.  DC. Lynn had better not underestimate C. Dykes O even without his QB1.

OK, found out their 2 backup QB’s.

QB2 is Ken Seals, 6-3, 220 lbs, Jr, played in mop up, 2025.  Typical mop up, QB rarely passes, thus his passing stats is not impressive (just like Miller Moss situation).  I guaranty, Seals is a very competent QB; it’s his time to shine.

QB3 is Adam Schobel, 6-5, 220 lbs, true Fr, did not play in 2025.  4* HS QB, Texas, #16 rated QB in nation, prolific Texas HS stats.  He’s gonna be a good one for C. Dykes.

Achilles heal for TCU is their D which is ranked, #71 nation, 377 yds pg. scoring D, #75 nation 25.15 pts pg

Hell, USC’s D is pretty bad too.  Total D ranked #47, 349 yds pg  scoring D, #47, 22.15 pts pg

It will be an O shoot out. Heck, I like high scoring games, it’s exciting seeing loads of TD’s…  Cheers

22 pts a game with two tds against the return teams and 1-2 on turnovers by the o inside the red zone
