KeymasterNice to see. Hated those long winning streaks by the originators of big time recruiting.
as I said previously. Mosley reminds me of Lemon. what he does best in my opinion is make choices about where to run. He had a 30 yard td reception on a hitch play On the play he’s running to the end zone surrounded by 5 DLS players and for 25 yards is running right in the middle of the convoy. They all looked like 5 Adoree Jackson’s escorting him to the end zone. They converged on him at the end and he ran over the last guy
SM kicker got hurt so they keep missing PATs. Odd they don’t have a former soccer kid somewhere on the roster. Pats in hs are not hard. Anyway it’s 19-0 in the 1Q and the DLS offense is overwhelmed by the SM D
katoanga. Split the guard center and blocked a fg
appears catholic schools no longer have the hair restrictions they did when I was there. My gosh. Dreadlocks down to the shoulders. Bushy fros sticking out the back. Miss Pierman. And miss mary brown and brother Daniel would have heart attacks if they saw this. They used to come up behind me and tug on any hair over the collar. Yeah. We had to wear collared shirts. No jeans. And chords at the time were gay. lol.
so apparently the hair rule is gone. Catholic school has changed

Keymasterif you weren’t watching this you were missing something. I did this when I watched Santa Margarita play in the Rose Bowl against Centennial. And Mosley is doing it again. I don’t know what injury he had that made him miss most of this season, but he is certainly not injured now I think he just scored his third or fourth touchdown of the first half
he made an incredible catch in traffic, which I think was a catch, but they don’t have replay and high school referees are not used to seeing catches like that so they ruled it incomplete
understand that in high school most great wide receivers are either 6 inches taller than the 5 foot seven defensive backs trying to cover them and they physically dominate them or they are speedsters to go down field and are 10 or 15 yards ahead. And catch wide open, passes
Trent Mosley catches passes in traffic. Weaves through traffic. Catches tough balls. Can get low and run through guys for another 2-3 yards. It’s not that he jukes like branch used to. He chooses open space. Runs to it. Makes the decision instantly and that decision gains him yards. He’s sneaky fast.
im telling you. If lemon reminds me of puka nua. And I was about the first to say that. This guy reminds me of lemon.
no Jayden crowder still. Hurt.
katoaga they appear to run away from him. He’s playing DL. So it’s hard to tell how he’d look as a lb at USC. I’m just really not a fan of him thus far He did just rough the passer so he will fit right in with tom tom and Scott of MD lol.

KeymasterDLS really should change their snap count. SM is teeing off and getting a running start. Considering how legendary DLS is for their discipline and coaching, that surprises me to see

KeymasterApparently DLS is undefeated. And is about to lose its 8th consecutive state championship. Down 35-7 at half and SM gets ball first. Mosley 8 catches for 134 first half
I’ve played on teams like this. Ironically a team that was undefeated and got murdered in the state up in Pleasanton. Right next to concord. By a team from concord. Our team pretty much gave up halfway through the second half. I imagine DLS is just shocked
they have no one but themselves to blame. They taught everyone else how to get away with recruiting.
used to beat more talented but undisciplined thug teams from poly. Coached by Raul Lara. And beat white truly catholic teams from mater Dei. Those days are long gone.

KeymasterLast play of 3q. Temendous catch on a wheel route by Mosley. Ran sideline with the db. Got behind him and dove inside for the ball. You just don’t see kids in hs catch stuff like this.
one reason he is so good in traffic is that he has supreme hands and confidence in them. They always teach you “don’t make your move before you catch the ball”. Yawn. That’s very grocery stick pop warner but the reality is guys catch the ball on the move. Wr. Shortstops. Center fielders. Anyone. And Mosley catches the ball on the move and thus already is in motion when other guys are getting going.
he’s not big but he’s a solid player. Very skilled and smart
