      1.  The #1 Jr College CB, Jakown Morris was dropped by USC, shoot he committed just 2 weeks ago.  Apparently, USC learned Morris took a secret official visit to Illinois over the weekend.  GM Bowden has a no visit policy for committed players, dis was a justified decision by GM Bowden dropping Morris…  Cheers.

      2.  C. Lincoln Riley after 4 years at USC.  Read what Stewart Mandel of the Athletic wrote how he feels about C.LR work at USC so far.  I agree with him all da way.  Heck, GM Bowden has been a Godsend for USC.  Bowden is the MVP dis year and USC must not lose him.  Give him a nice bonus and even give him a salary raise, as with his R staff.

So funny that UsC fans are so hot to with Riley and he’s considered a viable candidate for Ole Miss or Florida jobs if they come open.

Im starting to see a pattern here.  As signing day approaches each year opposing teams begin spreading rumors that Riley is going this place or that to try to pull away some top commits from the Trojans.  Bowden has this covered.

if Riley if doing so poorly and the future is dour under him then surely the recruits see what the average fan in his arm chair does.  You don’t think recruits have a better perspective?   See the facilities.  The practices.  Sit in team meetings?   You don’t think recruits have handlers.  Dads.  Coaches and handlers who see through the bull?  Sure.  Some get fooled.  But you can’t fool a class of 35 and lose NONE unless you’ve got buy in

fact is.  The top class in the country believes in USC.  Outside forces and negative Nancie’s want to tear it apart and throw away all this talent coming in. Not happening.

the question to me is how many will hang around.  My opinion is that they will bring in 35 and about 12 of them will be gone in a year or two.  I think that’s by design.  And I just hope the ones they lose are because they’re buried in the depth chart.  Behind guys the same age and class.  Not for other reasons.

Pete Carroll used to do this.  Recruit like crazy and then churn the roster when some kids couldn’t quite cut it.  He treated it like an nfl roster

The end for Clay Helton was when recruits and their handlers started turning their back on him. His last recruiting class was ranked #70. A lame duck coach. We all heard the whispers back then. Along with no nil and a huge wallet Oregon? Our goose was cooked.
That is not what we are seeing with Riley. Parents of players like him, they believe in him. The #1 ranked class does not happen by accident. 2/3’s of the class is enrolling early too. No, I don’t see recruits or their agents doubting Riley.

And those poor last couple classes by Helton set Riley up    Just like Oregon under Cristobal had great talent coming in they could hand to lanning
