country is in Spokane……AGAIN!  Atleast Few makes the playoffs. In many ways, Riley is less torturous. Riley’s season is always over in Sept. Few waits to fawk me until the Final Four.

We hear this every year and every year they fail.  Is few still their coach?

Gonzaga is the tallest midget.   Every year

Every year it’s true. Gonzaga is WITHOUT QUESTION THE BEST TEAM IN THE WEST. Winning a 64 team tournament is hard.

        They don’t even come close

sorry dude.  I don’t care about either team but for history?  UCLA

for the last 20-30 years?  Arizona

        for interest? Maybe unlv.

shoot Oregon is a better program than Gonzaga

San Diego state has been better recently.

id put Gonzaga somewhere maybe a little above UW USC and Fresno State.

Here’s what AI says. I’ll take AL’s opinion over the triple divorced loser.

The best NCAA basketball team in the western United States over the last 25 years is widely considered to be Gonzaga. Under coach Mark Few, Gonzaga has been one of the winningest and most consistently dominant programs in this era. Although they have not won a national title, Gonzaga has reached the national championship game twice (2017 and 2021), frequently held the No. 1 ranking, and produced numerous star professional players. They have maintained elite continuity and dominance, making them the top team in the western U.S. by consistent performance and impact during this period.Other notable western programs include Arizona and UCLA, but Gonzaga stands out in terms of sustained success, national relevance, and postseason performance in the last quarter-century .In summary, while teams like UCLA have historic prominence and others have had high success, Gonzaga’s consistent presence at the top of the rankings and in the NCAA tournament over the last 25 years marks them as the best western NCAA basketball team in this timeframe

Here’s what Gemini 3 calculated. As always, I am never wrong.

The list below represents the Top 25 programs of the last 25 years (2000–2025) based on consistent performance in the AP Poll. This order aggregates data from the “AP All-Time” lists adjusted for the 2000–2025 window, prioritizing teams with the highest frequency of Top 25 appearances and high finishes.

Top 25 Programs by AP Poll Performance (2000–2025)

Kansas JayhawksWhy #1: The model of consistency. Kansas holds the record for consecutive weeks ranked in the AP Poll (231 weeks) and rarely finishes outside the Top 10, giving them the best “average” rank despite fewer titles than UConn/Duke.

Duke Blue Devils Why #2: They have spent more weeks ranked #1 than almost any other team in this era. While they have slightly more unranked weeks than Kansas recently, their peak AP dominance is unmatched.

Gonzaga Bulldogs Why #3: A regular-season juggernaut. Gonzaga often finishes the season ranked #1 or #2 in the final AP poll, boosting their average significantly, even if tournament titles have been elusive.

North Carolina Tar Heels Why #4: Immense highs (multiple national titles) balance out occasional unranked seasons. They are a staple of the AP Top 5.

Kentucky Wildcats Why #5: Consistently elite recruiting leads to high preseason and regular-season rankings, though they have had a few volatile seasons that drop their average slightly below the top tier.

Michigan State Spartans Why #6: Tom Izzo’s program is famous for being “good not great” in the regular season but elite in March; however, their consistent Top 15 presence keeps their average ranking very high.

Villanova Wildcats Why #7: Dominated the 2010s. The Jay Wright era provided a decade of Top 5 finishes that anchors their 25-year average.

UConn Huskies Why #8: The “Tournament Team.” Despite winning the most National Championships in this span, UConn has had several seasons where they finished unranked or barely ranked in the final poll, lowering their average AP rank compared to Kansas/Duke.

Arizona Wildcats Why #9: A consistent West Coast power that racks up regular season wins and Top 10 rankings spanning the Lute Olson and Sean Miller eras.

Wisconsin Badgers Why #10: The definition of stability. They rarely crack the Top 3 but almost never miss the Top 25, maintaining a very strong average.

Guess what all those teams on the list have that the USC tranny zag fag fan doesn’t?  Or his school doesn’t?

        keep trying to be relevant.

id throw Gonzaga in the same bucket as Purdue except winning the big ten year after year as Purdue does is really an accomplishment.  Beating st Mary’s  and Pepperdine and Loyola  Marymount.  Not so much

Again, you show yourself to be a dumbfuk. Bags have a 750+ winning % against the power 5 conferences. They beat a Big10 school by 40 last night. Dummy.

Yeah because everyone thinks the zag fags play in a power conference

good luck against Portland.  And UOP.  I remember when UOP played in fresnos league.  The old pcaa.

I mean ok. If you want to cheer for white guys who bomb out in the nba.  Get all excited about 30 win seasons and sweet 16 losses.  Gonzaga is your team

man they are sounding like Purdue every minute.  Except Purdue is the greatest December dynasty in CBB history.  This year being no exception

I’m truly impressed how often you walk into these things
