Good points, GTrojan. Always tough to win at the lake.
And oddly enough if Oregon somehow does beat UW and Michigan beats tOSU, it will be Indiana vs Oregon in the B1G championship game, which I hope does not come to pass. There is no real benefit to playing in a CCG these days.
My preference for next weekend is for Oregon to win, Michigan to lose, and get a manageable opponent to play at Autzen in the first round (SMU maybe?), and then (hopefully) play in the second round. Although I have to admit, finally getting an SEC team of the stature of an Alabama to play at Autzen would be priceless since those teams (Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU) will NEVER schedule an away game at Autzen Stadium. (Not true of other SEC teams like Tennessee and MSU which did schedule home and away games in the recent past.)
Sure, Oregon could still get locked out of the CFPs with a Michigan win and a loss to the Huskies, but I think we are in a fairly solid position having beaten a strong, ranked USC team by 15 points, which is more than the spread was for this game.
