Reply To: Mater Dei loses 3rd game. Season over

OK here is my reply to Java and his distain for Mater Dei FB program.  Nope, MD is not overrated but highly respected by all the HS analysis and professionals who does the rankings.  There isn’t one who thinks MD is overrated and respects their very tough schedule every year.  They have one of the highest Power Rankings in da nation.  Even with an 8-2 record they were ranked #5 in nation.  Even with this loss to Centennial = 8-3, bet you next week rankings they will only drop down to #8 in nation.

Mater Dei loss to Centennial 43-36, 28-27 and Santa Margarita Catholic 6-7.  I saw these 3 games and I still feel and think MD is the better team.  Mater Dei won when St John Bosco #1 N,  Bishop Gorman #3 N, St Thomas Aquinas #9 N, Kahuku #1 Hawaii, OLu #15 N.   And, Java wants to convince people that MD is overrated?  Sometimes hate overtakes one’s ability to think correctly and objectively.

Nah,  Mater Dei is still top 8 team in the country even with an 8-3 record.  Then Java puts down these 3 MD players & USC commits saying they are mistakes.  Dat USC should drop their rides.  I say USC won big time getting Mark Bowman 5* TE, #2 N, #1 Ca.  Shoot Bowman would be ranked as a DE.  He is a fierce blocker, an animal FB player and very fast for his size 10.95 100 m, Tomu Topui 4* DL, #14 N, #1 Calif, dbl team every game and big time run stopper and Shaun Scott 4*, OSLB, #35 N, #1 Ca has 13 sacks for 2026 which is #2 in SS CIF.

Finally, Java has said negative things about C. Lara?  What’s up with dat.  C. Lara is a class act and a gentleman.  He coaches with coolness and composure.  I have never ever seen him lose his temper on da sidelines.  His players love da man.   If I had a son, I would have him play for C. Lara.  MD is very lucky to have him as their HC.
