On offense. Sets don’t get dudes open. Did you see how well covered Lemon Lane and Hines(??) were. Two to three defenders. Takes an acrobatic catch and nfl athleticism to make the play.

very few crossing patterns. Very few misdirections. Ran one underneath drag and it would have been a 20 yard 3rd down conversion and JM whiffed the throw.

we don’t even run inside slants anymore. That’s a staple to any offense.

And JM did finally run some RPOs. Love that! And yes it worked. Shocker. 🤦‍♂️

TEs over the middle was nice to see but JM couldn’t hit enough strikes there. Think we were 2/4 on those. Maybe 2/5.

run blocking/scheme was AWFUL. 27 carries for 52 yards I read somewhere. 🤦‍♂️ that’s scheme and technique. Again very few traps and pulls. Those only work for real running games I guess.

on defense. Notice how OPEN the opponent is? It’s incredible.

Oregon seemed to do whatever they wanted. They could run. They could throw to TEs.

on replays you could see the mental mistakes.

      18 was UNPLAYABLE yesterday.

Underneath drags are open by 20 yards. We seemed to play a lot of man yesterday and no it wasn’t working. Guys got caught in traffic a lot. Nothing was for that matter.
