If you have not seen the ucla fake fg

It is the funniest thing ever.  So we don’t talk ucla football here anymore since the bruins are 3-8 and the whole Kelly skipper skippy junior love fest the nation had for 15 minutes packed up and moved on.  Bruins basically lost 4 to open the season.  Won 3 in a row.  Were  the “hottest team in America” and have lost 4 in a row-again.

on the FG the holder takes the snap. Blindly flips it over his shoulder where I presume the kicker was supposed to catch it and run.  The kicker wasn’t there.  Ball lands on the turf.  Washington player scoops and scores from 65 yards out.

the crowd at the rose bowl was stunned.  Oh who am I kidding.  They weren’t there.    I actually tried to watch this game.  I noted to myself it was on at 730. Then I forgot.  Was eating my pizza.  Which I paid for unlike bruin fans.  And remembered. I think by the time I tuned in it was 27-0 and either just before or after half.

nico is out again. Got his bell rung.  With two concussions in 3 games I highly doubt he plays against UsC.  Nico jr wasn’t the back up.  Some  white kid was.  He  was ok.  Put up 14 against UW 3rd string D after being down 37-0.   Final was 48-14 and it probably wasn’t that close.

what was interesting was watching the quality of play and the physicality of the game.  After seeing UsC play Oregon.  Iowa and northwestern the last few weeks.  Even Nebraska before that.  UCLA isn’t even in the same ballpark physically.  I know people say UsC needs to be more physical.  And you always say that.  HS.  NFL. Wherever.  But USC is way more physical than ucla.  Even with their brutal stretch and injuries.

I don’t see anything preventing this from being a 42-14 game and funny people tell me I don’t know anything about football as I correctly predicted UsCs record this year.  All the way down to each single game.
