ParticipantMan, Makai Lemon is a beast at Wr. He should make All B1G and AA. He played like dat in HS at Los Al. Hell he made QB M. Nelson look good, bailing him out on bad throws.
I’m excited for 2 incoming Calif Wr’s, 2026, Trent Mosley, Santa Margarita HS, plays like Lemon and Luc Weaver, Notre Dame HS plays like former great Drake London. These 2 will play as freshmen next season… Cheers
PS. Shoot forgot TE/Big Wr, Mark Bowman, he will also play as a freshman and kick arse. Dang, he looks very good as a DE for Mater Dei. He will make All SS CIF and State CIF All TE. And, I won’t be surprised if he makes All SS CIF as DE.

KeymasterUSC needs it. Hines is getting good experience now. I keep hearing lane is considering the nfl. No way. Huge mistake. He needs a year like lemon. Dominant. No huge Mistakes. Lane has a minimum of 2 drops a game or some 50-50 balls he doesn’t get it even make great efforts for. His downfield blocking is suspect Got called for a hold yesterday and USC and lemon lost a huge gain. Hes also had a penalty this year lining up wrong inexcusable for a 3rd year guy.
he needs to come back and have a clean year with penalties and a dominant year as a wr 1. I’m afraid he’s too big to get separation and doesn’t have the drake London build to body people up. If he were able to do all that he’s a first rounder like lemon. If he leaves now? I’d say 4th. Maybe

ParticipantWhoa Bruddah Java, dat would be suicide for JaKobi to leave for the NFL. He is definitely not ready.
I remember Michael Pittman after his Jr season, which had an above average stats. All PAC 12. Michael was thinking of entering the NFL draft. But, in the end decided to stay for his Sr. season. He got stronger and much more consistent. He had a Great Sr season because he worked hard in the off season and work on his craft. He again was All PAC 12 and AA.
Shoot, JaKobi’s Jr. season is no where close to Pittman’s Jr. season. I think he makes All B1g 3rd team. JaKobi must come back for 2026, work hard in the off season, get stronger and be way more consistent. He has all the talent in the world.
Now, Makai Lemon is ready for the NFL, but I hope he comes back for his Sr. season and lead the young Wr. The young guys would look up to him and follow his hard working style at practice. I’m sure he would be voted as a team Captain. I love how Makai plays, he is old school Trojan and end up as Top 10 USC Wr…

KeymasterThat’s a great analogy to Pittman. And yeah I was alarmed when I heard that. He hasn’t shown consistent hands. Nor the body to win 50-50. Not sure he will get any faster but his blocking can improve and the other stuff you said.
I think he would become the man at UsC and would get a lot of attention on a very good team. Think he’d help himself and UsC both and prepare himself to be the next great USC NFL wr. I really hope someone talks some sense into him. I think you’re just the man

KeymasterMuch as I love lemon and was screaming for him to play in 2023 instead of Robinson and branch.
he gone. He has nothing left to prove. And that’s sad for me as a fan but he’s a first rounder imo. He should send 10% of his salary to Pakua nua and the rams for opening nfl eyes to more bodies and styles than the prototype. Lemon is just a great player. Period. He reminds me of Troy Polamalu playing wr.
