And the NL west almost every year has two playoff teams.  And has had as many as 3.  The d backs went to the series one year and have been in the playoffs a couple times.  Not sure about Colorado.  They haven’t always been bad.  San Diego is in the playoffs almost every year the past 5-6 years.  As to the giants.  Not sure about once since 2016-17.  They won 109 games or something one year.  For sure we’re in it then.

al west has some horrible teams.  Or has had them. Seattle and Oakland come to mind
