ParticipantHe has gone thru several rounds of interviews. This option sounds more plausible than the Fisch rumors. Bruins moving over to the discount rack with this one. If Chip’s show cause didn’t stop the Bruins, Tosh handing out coffee cups with cash in it to recruits should be a non factor. Great recruiter but nil sort of neutralizes that.

LA DuckParticipantLOVE IT!!! I hope it happens too!
Tosh is a great recruiter, but only a so-so DC.
The not-so-well-known secret is the real architect behind Oregon’s defense (#4 overall/#1 passing) other than Lanning is Co-DC Chris Hampton. That is who Oregon CANNOT afford to lose, but who likely will be in line for a DC position after the season.
BTW I thought Fisch wasn’t leaving?? According to mandb all the reports about his wife not liking the rain and the PNW is complete bumpkis. lol

ParticipantIt is a world of whores LA. Money talks, and Fisch is not immune to its lure. Maybe he is just trying to up the ante at Udub.

LA DuckParticipantOh I don’t blame Fisch at all for going for the $$$. It’s the way it is right now….wonder how much John McKay or John Robinson would have gotten in today college football world?
I just get a kick outta poking fun at mandb and my friends the Huskies due not accepting reality and for their over-exuberance when Oregon was going through a rotating list of head coaches about 8 years ago. They couldn’t be prouder of the fact that UW was a destination for coaches, NOT a stepping stone to other jobs as they noted Oregon was with Willie Taggart and Mario Cristobal, who both left Oregon for their dream jobs/dream schools.
lol…..so much for that….sucks to be on the other side, right Washington? Especially now that Oregon has as close to a lifer as you can get these days as Lanning ain’t leaving Eugene (or at least until he starts losing, as Lanning himself notes.)
Nothing better than some delicious irony on a Friday, GTrojan.

ParticipantAlways good to hear from you LA. I’m pulling for the Ducks to lose two more games this season. LOL! Unfortunately, the best chances of this happening is Iowa and Udub, since our QB is a mental case in away games.
