Bad news for the USC vs Irish series, 2027 in South Bend and 2028 on the plains as they like to say. There is talk of extending the rivalry 2026 in LA and 2027 in SB. USC wants the game played in September and ND wants to keep it, SB in October, in LA in November. Irish say they can’t move the game because it’s harder to schedule good opponents later in the year.

Every Trojan should make this pilgrimage at least once. Here is a pic from my recent visit to enemy territory. 99% of ND fans were great by the way. This L wasn’t on me. Even a painful sciatica,  rain and sitting among Irish couldn’t keep me from standing the whole game, flashing the V.  I wore a jersey for the first time in many years. A 1996 Rose Bowl game worn jersey. USC section, row 11, seats 1-6. Like the Terminator once said, “I’ll be back”.

I agree. It’s a great rivalry and great atmosphere. I’ve made the trip from PA to South Bend for the game and hope to see it at the Coliseum one day.

Good. uSC has a hard enough b10 schedule.  They can sign Idaho for a home home home home home and home home home home series.   Throw Hawaii in there.  If you want a rivalry or memory schedule Stanford.

Notre dame can take their stacked schedules and games they play and shove it.  Go find someone else to play you in November.  Stanford should tell them to shine on toon. Acc is too much travel already
