Ohtani on short rest and he’s proven hittable. I think LA has to get 3 out of him.  If so it sets up

i throw him until we get to the spot in the lineup where the jays have lefties and guys with reverse splits.  Then I throw Snell but really.  He’s only going to be good for 3-5 batters.  Maybe an inning. Maybe 4-5 outs.

if you can get away with bringing in your starter.  Glasnow in the 5th or to start the 6th you’re in fine shape.  They may bring him in after ohtani but I like the idea of flipping the Jay lineup w the lefty.  And forcing them to decide to either stay with lefty lefty or start using bench mid game.

I think in a high intensity game.  With glasnow having thrown Friday and with him being a guy who uses a lot of pitches you’re only going to get 4 out of him.

that means LA has to find 3-5 outs among Wrobleski.  Sasaki.  Banda. Henriquez.  If we see Treinan it’s over.  Not wanting to see Kershaw either unless it’s a 2 out lefty on lefty deal

with Sherzer he doesn’t throw hard anymore so lay off the junk at the bottom of the strike zone.  Make the umpire call it.  I would hunt fastball curve middle in.  He won’t want to go there but anything that starts low is going to finish in the dirt   LA has to find some offense and so far the pitching plan of the jays has been perfect

oh and Mookie needs to go after more first pitches.
