USC  isn’t beating Oregon on the road

talent level is still two years away from being even. And that assumes usc keeps recruiting at this levels and doesn’t churn kids.

and that both staffs remain as they are.   There’s only a 20% chance two years from now that the coordinators and head coaches for both teams remain.  And a 50% both head coaches will still be in place.

assuming they are.  I think USC will be on par with coaching.  On part with athletes. And will have them in the system long  for maturity.    Oregon entered this season 3 years ahead of usc in that regard and I think USC has done well enough that with this trajectory of organization coaching and recruiting that they can go toe to toe with UO in 2027 or 2028.  Not until then.  Unless someone at USC takes a major leap or lanning sh the bed
