Reply To: Next HC for these College Teams?

Don’t get me wrong, Fisch is a good coach and if he comes I’m not complaining. I like Jason Eck for a number of reasons, he’s shown that he can turn programs around quickly, known for building powerful offenses, one of the best recruiters in the Country and develops strong relationships with players and families.

He took University of Idaho to back to back FCS playoff appearances in just 3 seasons. At Minnesota St he won two Northern Sun intercollegiate conference championships and went to the divisional NC game. They’re loving him at NM right now.

Eck is exactly the kind of coach UCLA needs right now who can come in and bring consistency and winning. Plus it would be a step up for him coming to a major program, whereas for Fisch it’s more of a lateral move.

I remember the critics didn’t like the Dick Vermeil hire at UCLA and how did that turnout LOL. Difference now of course they can make so much money coaching college they don’t have to bolt for the NFL.
