Reply To: Jaxson Dart Has A Lot of Juice

When experts were debating the best quarterback in the NFL draft. And we’re going back-and-forth between cam Ward and shiddy sanders. I openly responded why dart was not included in that discussion. He always seemed to be an afterthought and opinions on him varied  widely

i dont recall where he was actually drafted.  16 maybe?   But I felt he belonged behind ward due to mobility and age was of sanders for many reasons.    Turns out the press was wrong and the nfl gms had it the way I figured.  I just am not sure if I’d have had dart go 16 and I would not have predicted sanders where he went.  I wouldn’t have picked him at all but I get why someone would.

dart?  Gosh if I am assuming ward at 1 and knowing how we overvalue qb I’d have likely put him at about 5.  Maybe 8.

playing for a bad team like the giants gives him a chance to shine like few young qbs get to.  So that’s a plus for him.  Can he elevate them and lead them to the next level?  I dunno.  I’ve been wrong on plenty of nfl saviors.  I truly thought Chris Claiborne was the greatest lb I’d ever seen at USC and the lions had a monster
