Is just so bad. Heads down. Trying to get to the QB and he doenst have the ball. Situational awareness is non existent

LBers behind them are even worse

      Watching the ball?
paying attention to see if it’s a run play? Against ND? 🤦‍♂️

And yet.   If USC covered a kickoff and lemon and Maiava don’t make bad decisions UsC leads this game by double digits.  The defense has gotten several stops and nd missed a fg

      this isn’t on the D

Having said that.  I’ve said all game long ND is winning both sides of the ball LOS.  Soooo. There’s that

The offense has handed Notre Dame the ball two times. And Notre Dame has seven points on a kickoff return.

i don’t know what Carr has but he hasn’t been great.  Neither has Jakobi Dean lol.  Dude has been soft tonight

I find it interesting that the officials first response two different times tonight was oh it must be an interception. Oh Notre Dame must have the ball. Oh, let’s give Notre Dame the ball and only on replay. Is it obvious that the ball was sitting on the ground bunch of freaking idiots

On the second “interception” that was reviewed and overruled, how did the reply official not notice that Lane’s helmet didn’t just come off, it was pulled off by the facemask?

I thought it was fascinating that not once, but twice the ball rolled around on the ground and the officials first assumption was “INTERCEPTION NOTRE DAME”  Really?  What the hell are you thinking?  You’re officiating this game?  Like being paid to do this?  Happening once was funny, happening twice in the same direction was bad.

Having said that.  If you want to win road games against good teams.  You can not go 0-2 on 4th down.  You can not turn the ball over 3 times in the 4th quarter.  You can allow a KO return for a TD.  USC did all of that in the 4th quarter
