LA DuckParticipantFirst – Congrats on USC’s decisive win over Go Blue! I can see why this board is finally back….lol. Our November game in Eugene just got that much more interesting!
Second – Yes, Oregon shat the bed – hat’s off to Indiana – better game plan, better coaching, no doubt about any of that!! Oregon simply mailed it in. Not good. Will be interesting to see how far Indiana goes this season. Not sure Oregon has only 1 more loss in them, there might be at least 2 more…
Dante Moore along with much of this young Oregon squad is still very much a work in progress as I had cautioned here a week or two ago….that’s why the only substantial “rah-rah” post from me the past few weeks has about how much fun the Penn State win was….well, at least at the time it was pretty fun….until PSU lost to UCLA and then Northwestern….lol
Speaking of which, funny anecdote: Oregon and Lanning has indirectly led to 3 head coaches being fired this season so far: OSU’s Mike Gundy, the other OSU’s Trent Bray plus PSU’s James Franklin. Will there be more this season because of my quacks???

ParticipantI don’t know what to make of Oregon after PSU’s fall from grace. Some days I think PSU just collapsed after that loss because they thought they were championship material, and it doesn’t really weaken Oregon’s win on the road against a white out team. But then I remember that Franklin can’t win the big game. But then I see Moore and some of the things he does, and I swing right back to thinking maybe the loss was the fluke.
Very difficult for me to gauge Oregon this year. Obviously not mediocre, but just how good are they? I don’t have a clue. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the championship game or ending up with three losses. Although I don’t think they will lose 3, I wouldn’t be shocked per se. As for SC, until they prove they can win in the BIG on the road I still think it’s a four-loss team, maybe 3. I would love to be wrong and eat crow but…

Checking It Twice
ParticipantTry being honest. Try reality. You didn’t “mail it in.” Hardly. What a cop out.
You noisy Ducks simply got the crap kicked out of you as anyone could see. Curt Cignetti’s team totally abused your ass, is obviously superior, and you flopped again as usual in the big game. Funny stuff.

ParticipantWell LA, it appears I was a bit premature in crowning Oregon as the best team in the country. I was happy to see the Dante Moore I remembered from his ucla days, LOL! I wish your team all the worst.

LA DuckParticipantLol! As you should, my friend GTrojan, as you should!! Hey, what happened to your new, I guess now former, name? Good to have the REAL GTrojan back with us!
I’ll be surprised if Oregon is still favored by the time we play each other. If Oregon IS favored, might have to take a quick trip to Vegas to put some money down on USC to win….lol… $$$ always helps with the sting of losing…
