      Correct me if I’m wrong

      Offense

one returning starter. 10 transfers. Now 11 with Nico out.

tons of older players –  7 seniors /RS Seniors. 2 Juniors

This team is NOTHING like last years team. Only thing similar is the team name on the jersey

      QB Nico

      4 JMU transfers

      WR RB C RG

      Plus 6 other transfers?

      WR (South carolina)

      WR (Michigan)

      LT (eastern Michigan)

      LG (Oklahoma)

      RT (Boise State)

      TE (Kansas State)

That’s what happens to a 3-9 team in today’s CFB.  UCLA was really boned with the roster though, it was pathetic.  Would you have kept that group together?

Dude why are you doing this and going through all this nonsense to smear UCLA?  Honestly since the Wisconsin game you have been non stop. Worry about your own team. 🤦

      You’re not wrong.

Of the 22 starters, only 4 were on the team last year. Where the transfers came from is beside the point.

Chesney is not coaching the 2025 team. He’s following the Coach Prime/Cignetti plan.

honestly, can’t blame him. It’s 2026, portal and NIL era. He’s doing what he has to do to survive. Riley got Caleb and Addison and I’m glad he did. Until they change the rules, you’d be a fool to not use them to your advantage. I guess some people want to give dabo a medal for playing the “right way”, right out of a job soon enough.

there is a big difference between Whoregons mercenaries and utla’s transfers. And it’s why Whoregon LOST, has and will never win anything. sc

What point are you trying to make Pasadena?  We all know that UCLA brought in a ton of new players.  Are these players too highly ranked?  Too seasoned?  Is it not fair that they didn’t have to be recruited and retained since they were in HS?  Do the rules need to be changed?  Would USC do something different if Riley shit the bed and got fired and they brought in a coach from a different program?  Or would they do the exact same thing if they were in The same situation?  Maybe write Bob Chesney a letter and offer him your recommendations on how to properly run a program.  He might find that your ideas are valid and follow your instructions.  And then you can be happy and stop whining.

Honestly I just wanted a comprehensive overview.
just curious what I could learn.

my only critique is a coach leaving and raiding his former employer of players and coaches. I will always believe that as I find it disloyal.  For any program and any coach. in this case BC is very guilty.

I also laugh at the narrative that BC did this with no NIL. UCLA has a good amount. Why pundits don’t know that is weird. Not the highest but far from the lowest

Not many Bruin fans have said that about NIL, that was a mistake by cowherd or whoever said it.  UCLA is upper middle when it comes to that.  Will success open up wallets a bit more?  Ehhhhh, I do t think so, might go up a few million, but I doubt we will ever get in the champagne room with that.  Now if this NIL was for a spelling bee or a STEM nerd-off we would be walking around like sultans.
