Will be some tough sledding, but Nico was not really doing much with his arm, his numbers were really poor. Teams were selling out vs the run and it didn’t work. So if that can maintain, all that is needed is a very simple passing offense, which is what they were doing. So not much will change outside of the QB, and this guy can run as well. If UClA can get a few good runs and 150-200 yards a game out of the new guy they will have not lost anything. The UCLA staff was trying to get this guy at JMU so they must have some idea of what he can do, and I would trust them to put together a solid plan. This weekend matchup will be a tough one for UCLA but they should be 4-3 out of remaining games.
