defender has a right to be on the field. The game needs to stop penalizing under thrown balls. An under thrown ball can make it look like assault. Thats where saying the player has to turn around. It’s a big ask but I get it. But no eyes in the back of our heads and you have to play the eyes of the WRer. Again a big ask
this kid gets there early. In slow mo. In game time that’s bang bang. I can see why ref didn’t call it.
should defender have been playing the ball vs the WRer? I can see that too. But it’s not a rule is it? He was looking to hit the WRer assuming ball got there. In game speed that’s fair no?
I also wouldn’t have lost my s if they called it. This was a tough one IMO
