One of the best things about bye weeks – you can have fun watching college ball all Saturday with no stadium to run off to and without any chance of a bad day.
Fun that it came down to the last few seconds. And I KNOW I have never seen more punts stopped inside of 5 yards before – that was crazy!!
Not sure what that game said about either team, though. I am curious if mandb still feels like Jed Fisch is a good coach? Loved some of his cool trick plays, and it’s not his fault he has no RBs. Heck, he portaled one of Oregon’s 6th string RBs for this year, Limar, now injured. So he knew he needed depth.
But with that UW team I see at a minimum 3 more losses (Iowa or at Neb plus Ls to Indiana and at Oregon). Is 7-5 gonna cut it for the Husky faithful?
Oregon won’t have it easy this season either: Pre-season, none of UCLA, Nebraska, Northwestern instilled fear in anyone. Now? Not so sure. All seem like really good to great teams.
Guess those games will replace the underperforming Illinois and Michigan in terms of any fear factor for my quacks in 2026.
