The rule is clear. You cannot push or pull an opposing player off the pile.

And the ‘roughing the passer’ penalties have gone too far. Sure, protect players but when a player’s momentum carries you to hit the QB before the throw is made, you just cannot stop on a dime like that. If you let up too early before the pass is thrown, I have seen too many times where the QB suddenly pulls the ball down and takes off. This is football for cryin’ out loud and if the QBs are to be THAT protected, put those velcro flags on their hips and say off limits. Of course that would mean QBs with even the smallest amount of mobility wouldn’t be able to escape if all you have to do is reach out and grab that flag.

I have played flag and tackle both.  Half the time in flag we had to grab a guy. Bear hug him then grab the flag   Or just tackle him lol

        LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!

You have posted in the past that you NEVER played tackle football. YOU NEVER EVEN PUT ON PADS. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS LIKE TO HIT OR BE HIT. FACT.

Now you claim to have played tackle football. HOW without pads? YOU ARE A LIAR.

When you post ever single thing about your pathetic life on the internet, IT’S FOREVER.

Please have respect for those that have played contacts sports. There is nothing like it. You will NEVER understand it. sc

No self respecting MAN lies about playing real football. It’s like lying about being in real combat. It’s just not done. I would never play make pretend I have any idea what that experience must be like. NONE.

But you are white trash from fresneck that tried to brag your cement pond in methland was a real lake. nuff said.

You NEVER competed in ANY contact sport, ever. And NO, coed softball does not count either.

The only think you know less about real football is coaching anything. Paying children to call you coach never has or will make you the coach of anything, buttermaker. sc

Your posts used to be funny.  Now it’s just boring.

Got to come up with some new material.  I mean, I love being your favorite subject and you’re a great internet dog, following me around.

But you’re kinda that yappy Chihuahua  After awhile, you don’t notice anything other than the tone.

Mission Bay is fake, did you know that?

I agree BUT conferences and NFL have disallowed this play when you land on the QB. You have to extend arms to soften landing or roll off to side. I don’t like the rules at all but that is how it’s called everywhere except USC.

USC didn’t punk the Husky. He pushed him off as he laid on him.

He lifted his weight off Maiava right away after tackling him. He wrapped up the QB and took him down what’s dirty about that it’s tackle football.

It’s not fair that USC has to abide by the rules.  The world is out to get them to keep them from the greatness that they know they are.

He lifted his weight right away? Lol

He definitely laid on him and didn’t move.  Only when he was shoved did he roll off and act like he’d been stabbed.

I don’t remember any elephant seals at Catalina. I do know there’s a beach on the way up the coast headed toward Morro Bay where a whole bunch of them gather. might even be called elephant seal Beach. I don’t remember
