      UW’s offense is inept.

      Demond Williams is not a good QB

      UW’s defense is pretty good (held USCs offense to 19 points).

      Special teams are solid (best in years).

      Too many 1st and 2nd year starting players or in the two deeps to win games like these. The young talent is there though.

      And as a side note: Refs can take the fun out of watching college football.

      I don’t think wafles was a face mask. Def not a 15 yard type. I thought there was a 5 yard variety too? Or is that only NFL

      those illegal formation calls that the announcers couldn’t explain were fun. Im Assuming they were legit

      DW was fun to watch. Misses

        felt like it was 9-1 in favor of USC.

        It was a facemask. The 5 yard variety went out years ago. They are all 15 yards.

        The def PI call (early in the 4th qtr) was atrocious. Called by the side judge down the field when he couldn’t see the WR grabbing the jersey and pulling the defender towards him and down. Clearly offensive PI. Where was the side judge up the field when he has a clear line of sight? Eating his boogers I imagine.

        Am I being a homer?

        I said DW was fun to watch a year ago. Not anymore. Not only misses throws but doesn’t see wide open receivers. On the fumble/scoop and score, DW yet again held onto the ball way too long looking for a bigger play but missing a wide open Kade Eldrige that would have been a 1st down. Then the last play of the game had a wide open receiver over the middle for a 1st down (there was plenty of time) but forced the pass into double coverage for the failed attempt at a TD.

        Spot on with every point you made. That PI was a joke but remember it was at the Coliseum so no surprise.

        Does Bonner know which way to run on a counter?

        Some questionable play calling by JF with a QB that has the ability to extend plays, especially with a chance to win it at the end.

        I thought his play calling was very creative.  Halfback pass.  Flea flicker.  Several trick plays that all worked.

        I thought USC gradually slowly adjusted and was able to handle Williams running and cut off the edge better later in the game.  Which is why he began taking some hits

        Interesting take on cutting off Williams.  The NBC announcers previewed the game by saying Williams was better scrambling vertically than horizontally, but all his successful scrambles were horizontal, using his speed to beat defenders to the edge.  For once, a pretty good defensive adjustment at halftime.

      I made a comment about people missing the pac 12 and that the 10 penalties for each team surely would bring back warm memories.

      UW is not a good offense and to me that game being that close means USC is in real trouble.

      I think they can beat state Penn as the inmates aren’t very good this year. But USC is going to get beat by four touchdowns twice this year once by Indiana once by Ohio State and the entire Trojan fan base is going to simultaneously go into epileptic seizures.

      They might actually still finish 9-3. But those horrible losses, along with the diminished value of victories against Washington and perhaps state Penn won’t get them into the playoffs

      I’m glad for USC to win and stop a UW losing streak. But from the rest of this evening’s a loss as it relates to the progress USC is making. It means the turd they laid at Rutgers and the turd they laid against Oregon turned into a turd against UW. Lay that many turds in a row and guess what that says about you? Mmmmhmmmm

      it’s Indiana vs OSU for the title.  And the only 2 with a shot at the Natty.
