ParticipantBrutal.
Campbell was mediocre hire from Mediocre program
Campbell is a fraud
why did people think mediocre B12 dudes were gonna come in a dominate?
how did Cignetti do it with JMU players vs Iowas state players?
penn state football covers all the other sports. It dies it all dies
Folks saying Bob Chesney wanted job and they wouldn’t give it to him?
Big concerns with NIL money
This is all the curse of Sandusky.
i actually think it’s the curse of JoPa’s and his torn down statue and forgotten legacy myself
If you CLR leads us to this place that PSU is in….god help us all. And yes it’s very possible

ParticipantApparently a bunch of recruits left PSU to follow Franklin to VT.
I left out a bunch of targets passed on taking the job.
Fans are realizing maybe it’s not a top destination
I mean they threw Joe Paterno and James Frankin under the bus. Makes me wonder
I thought PSU was a top 10 job myself. No question. Best uni in the game. By a mile.
Apparently PSU QB sucks too. That makes it extra hard

KeymasterI don’t think you get the lesson here
the lesson is be careful what you wish for.
the other lesson is when you decide to do a swan dive off the Olympic board? you better make sure there is water in the pool
I will translate that for the slow. you know those who sat on the bench and watched hockey for their college career. it means don’t give up what you have unless you absolutely know you have something better
walking away from a above average coach and situation to randomly throw out the idea that the entire world can apply for the job is not an improvement that is a “anything is better than this” philosophy and that is completely wrong unless your program has consistent losing records, it absolutely can be worse than this
so be careful where you tread and state Penn is a good example imo.
I thought given the chaos of Michigan they did pretty well with Kyle but that just means I think he can hold the program together and be 8-5. Not elevate it to compete with Ohio state
I see state Penn and Michigan sliding in stature and usc rising above them into the 4th spot in the conference. I realize that bothers a lot of USC people, but it’s a large conference filled with extremely talented teams and it means that the next target to pass in terms of program quality and stature is the one that beat USC last week
Washington. Michigan and state Penn are all in the group usc leads or a bit behind the Trojans.
Right behind them I would say is Iowa and Wisconsin. Maybe northwestern Illinois
then Nebraska Minnesota ucla and a bit below them Rutgers. Michigan state and Maryland.
dead last is Purdue. Much as that pains me to say. Maybe they put all their NIL in basketball. Hope so for them

ParticipantAdd PennState fans to the list of those that want their coaches fired. PennState was humiliated last night. Northwestern rushed for over 400 rushing yards.
For every Cignetti there is a Matt Campbell. And D’anton Lynn wow. I have seen that crappy defense before. Campbell brought 24 Iowa State players to State Penn and man do they suck.
Last night’s game reminded me of a movie. Northwestern was the pizza delivery guy and State Penn was the lonely housewife whose trucker husband was on a cross country haul. I will leave that there so as not to offend Fraud but be careful what you wish for guys.
USC can win at Happy Valley.
