      Ironic that you post this after Darnold throws two picks on his return, they lose and the Vikes improve to 3-0.
      But hands down, the Vikes really made a horrible call letting him go. And it is a long season.

        And how many people said so at the time? Besides me and Cowherd. There were a handful on tv. But not many. 90-10 for sure

      ironic that you left off 390 yards passing and 4 TDs

      and Seattle gave up 33 points, bench their first round draft pick running back after his first quarter fumble, they’re two starting safeties did not play,  they only ran for 45 yards on the ground and gave up 3/4 for third down conversions in a row so Seattle offense never got the ball back with a chance to kick a field goal to win

      by the way, I watched every snap. Marcus Mariota played the game of his life and made about 5-6 really good throws. and lived on the check down offense. smart football. He had three touchdowns on today

        I don’t hate on Sam, re-read my post. I said it’s a long season and that the Vikings made a horrible decision. If I thought Darnold sucked after one game, I wouldn’t say that the Vikes made a horrible decision. Two picks no matter the yardage or TD’s is a problem, he needs to get that turnover problem back in line. Which I believe he will. I do think that they miss K9; I know my Chiefs sure appreciate the pick up. 🙂

        Most coaches would prefer 2/0 or 3/1. Turnovers are the enemy. More brutal than just about anything else.
        I’m the one who said Darnold was a generational player at SC who got screwed by coaching. I also said when people jumped on him in the NFL that his story wasn’t finished. This was before the Vikes resurrected his career. Don’t be so defensive of your heroes. Constructive criticism can be a good thing.
