Keymasteras I wrote earlier, they are playing a team more talented and more experience than they are. USC is not used to that
when that happens you need to play clean and the missed fg. And the roughing forced them to go for it on fourth down at midfield which ended up costing them yet another seven
at one point tonight the announcers said that every catch made by a USC receiver was made by a freshman. I don’t know if that’s true freshman or red shirt, but either way a freshman
I know Heinz eventually got one and so did Anderson so that wasn’t completely the case all the way to the end.
but seeing all of the freshman receivers, seeing a true freshman starting at tight end, seeing a true freshman, started defensive, end seeing Stuart, who’s supposed to be a true freshman this year that’s just a lot of young players you’re throwing out their expecting them to perform at the level that Indiana is doing with 25 year-old guys
so it’s getting there. USC was not blown out. It was a close game. It was a tie game at 20
but obviously they aren’t there yet if you asked me at the beginning of the year, I thought they were about a 12 or 13th rank team after the Rutgers game I would’ve ranked them about 20th
I really don’t know what to make of Oregon after their Boise and Oklahoma State games and with a new quarterback, they are completely different team I would have to say Oregon is a top 10 team. I would say USC is 15 to 20 just outside the playoffs about where they were last year
