ParticipantYep Doc SC reported Trent should sit out/rest his knee before the report came out. We all agreed. Good thing USC’s Wr room is stacked. C.LR does not think it’s long term (glad). Trent’s bio list his hometown, Chicago, Ill ? But, he played for Santa Margarita Catholic, Orange County, S. Calif. His parents are Notre Dame alum. Dad played FB and Mom soccer for ND.

ParticipantI’m more bummed about the special teams punt return. Also, from some of the podcasts I saw yesterday there’s some questions about the severity and the timeline, so I hope this is indeed precautionary and is minor.

ParticipantFREE BOOBIE!!
Just kidding, time for Anderson and Tanook to get back in the lineup. WR is perhaps the strongest group. That #4 is not off to a good start with Mosley and Stewart both injured.

ParticipantUnconfirmed reports on wearesc.com that Mosely’s injury more serious, up to 8 weeks. That would really suck.

Participant909 I gave this subject mucho research and everything points to C.LR saying not major, it’s not long term. Can you find your source ad cut and paste it here. Very curious. From my experience, looking at him walk off the field with a slight limp points to a bruise or strained knee. These type of injury takes 2-3 weeks. I’m sure USC’s A+ medical team will adhere to xlent treatments, meds, lots of icing, & physical therapy which will speed up the healing process. Key, must control inflammation and allow his blood (white and red blood cells) do it’s good work and heal the injury naturally. Get lots of rest. Soak his knee in ice cold water + Epson salt.
Even if he heals in 3 weeks, he must regain FB conditioning again, which takes a good full week of practice. Dealing with injuries are part of playing FB. Shoot in my time, aspirin, massage, liniment were all we had. Heck looking back, liniment was bad for early treatments. Wished we knew about mucho icing… Cheers.

ParticipantOK, found out some facts.
Trent Mosley family. Yep they are from Chicago, whole family moved to S. Calif 2020. Weird his bio would list Chicago his hometown. Remember reading his R, said he loved S. Calif and would not want to play in cold weather schools. Yeah, his parents are alums from Notre Dame, and yet he did not pick ND. His older brother Emmett (by 2 yrs) was a standout Wr at SMC, then Stanford, now at Texas. His younger brother Grant (by 2 yrs) is a Sr at SMC and a standout Wr too. He is a big lean for USC, Shaka.
Mark Bowman family. Yep they are from Colorado, whole family moved to S. Calif 4 yrs ago. The move was about his FB career; parents felt da SS CIF was the best place for success and exposure… Big Shaka.
