show on one of the tv’s and the headline was “Should USC be concerned about their defense?” Didn’t recognize the hosts and there was no volume
but they were talking about this for at least 5 minutes. Are any of you concerned about USC’s defense? I haven’t seen any posts on the board talking about this.
There have been a couple of threads on our defense. Yes, very concerning how our depth players give up so many big plays. Our starters in the secondary are also a concern. The safeties look vulnerable. None of us realists, ahem, were expecting an elite defense but there are some definite concerns. We are about to find out in the next few weeks
The Trojan defense looks insanely huge though, at least on the line. Seems like they are mauling the OL on every play. DB play is meh, but that can be tightened up a bit with ease. Once you guys are in the super duper mega gauntlet I am sure the players will take the games seriously. You guys pitched a shut out against Fresno and they are probably making the playoffs, so I don’t know what you guys are really that concerned about. Not every game is going to be 80-0.
