  Dillingham leaving alma mater for lack of money invested
  
  or Diaz who formerly coached there under Norvell
  
  eta Shannon Dawson, mainly due to the $$ pulling the first two names. And dude does seem like a legit offensive mind
  
  those are my guesses. That’s a big buyout so no not sure how much they can pay the new coach

  Norvell’s buyout is too much for Florida State right now. I would go with Diaz or Dillingham before Deion. Deion’s health is a question but I don’t see how he could say no if he’s asked by his alma mater. He would have to surround himself with an excellent staff. He certainly can recruit but would FSU give him the NIL budget to bring in those highly sought after and expensive recruits and to keep them at FSU?

    He’s done such a marvelous job at Colorado. I’m not sure that Florida State could contain their glee going six and six and 3–9 like neon Deon has

    Underwood, easily. And esp. when you factor in the $5 mil. I predict he won’t be the starter by year’s end. Hope he’s investing that nil money wisely, he’s not getting that much next year for sure.
    Whitingham didn’t recruit him, so he’s going to have to show he deserves to be the starter. Plus Whittingham has praised the backup ever since Spring started. It’s a matter of time…

  One of the objectives when you hire a new coach is to fire up the fan base and more importantly the big money boosters. Deion is a showman but he is 16-21 at Colorado. That’s a tough sell. I have never liked Manny Diaz and I have been watching him since he was wrecking the defense at Texas. I’m not sure that 19-9 at Duke and 39-24 overall is good enough.
