Now you know why I wanted Garry Patterson 5 years ago.

Haven’t seen a swarming dominant defense like that since pete carroll’s 2006 beat down of the french whores at the coliseum. First throughly enjoyable game from kickoff to final play in a decade.

USC has always won with dominant talent.  Big fast jimmies and joes.  Sure is fun to watch.

All SC has needed was a top 25 defense was all I heard since 162 showed up.  Well , this is a top 25 defense with a top ten defensive coach.

Favorite play of the game is when Urlaker just blasted the fresneck  very mediocre quarterback out of the back of the endzone.   Never seen that before.   That’s the kind of thing people will put up with the hassle of the coliseum to see.

The other best thing about the game was I didn’t see any major injuries.  Bet Maiiaaiava’s throwing shoulder hurts today.  Sitting him for sat late night scrimmage  isn’t the dumbest idea in the world.  Would like to see what  Jonas can do with the ones and what Sam Huard can do.

Special teams were again not really noticeable compared to CLR’s first four years huh.  Wonder what they changed?  Who would have thought a special teams coach would help?  Thanks Jen.  sc
