And also inaccurate on the other half?

3rd year starter or is this only his 2nd. 🤔

He needs to be a star for us to have 10/11 wins

the throws were all basic too. Short to medium. Stationary targets mostly. No deep balls.

CLR is a nutjob. He overthinks everything.

SJSU passing game made alot more sense to me.

that TD over middle where he faked our DB was a good route and I realized we never run it?

did you see Bowman on that underneath cross? That should be 3/4 times a game. Hope we’re saving it

Still not sold on Meiaaieava.  Something about him just doesn’t come off as natural talent.  More mechanical . Doesn’t seem to have that IT factor.  It’s like he plays afraid to make a mistake.  I guess that’s just who he is.  Carson,  Darnold and Williams and even Haden back in the day put the team on their back.   Don’t see that with this guy.   Not yet at least.

He had a good game.  Great throwing percentage but didn’t stretch the field.  I guess he did what he was told.  Caleb didn’t always listen to CLR.

Don’t see NFL talent.   Haven’t seen enough of the next guy.  sc

He was 25-29 with 10 yards per attempt. 86%

      3 TD

      Passer rating of 191.6

      How is 86% inacurrate?

Have you ever watched football before?

Guys we’re diving/reaching to make catches on easy throws

and late on all the underneath and sit stuff. pick 6 waiting to happen

Ah so they were all lousy throws and 85% of the time guys made incredible catches.

Uh, except the one he dropped 40 yards over the shoulder to Mosley and he dropped it.

        Got it.

Would have been Mosley’s easiest catch of the night.

        It was a dime

      PT trying to discuss football.

PT what did you think of the game ?

PT: “ I personally believe that USC Americans, such as, don’t go to games because, such as, it is so hot at noon, such as. I also  believe, such as, that Lincoln Riley has poor play designs, such as, he gained 500 yards with, such as, third stringers playing most of the second half, such as. I also believe, such as the quarterback who completed almost all his passes, such as, is really bad at quarterbacking such as. Thank you.”

(PT fully convinced that he sounds like knows what he is talking about):

PT makes it so damn easy. 50% of the time I let fastballs go without swinging, the other 50% I swing at.

Too funny Bruddah Balls.  Bruddah Pasadena is a good guy, sometimes say all da wrong things.  Dis topic is a good example.  He wants us to believe he is a QB whisperer?  Dang, QB Maiava played a very good game.  See Java’s reply, and stats.  The problem with USC is still with the D.  Very disappointed with DC Patterson D.  1st string B, 2nd string F.  I feel the D is still soft, missed tackles, center field wide open, DB’s just a bit too late in coverage.

Man, I was hoping to see an Indiana, Miami, Ohio St, UGA,  Texas Tech, Oregon, Iowa type D, but what we saw is no where close.  If the D does not improve, USC will not make the CFP.

Poor girl, so pretty too.  She broke down under pressure.  God bless her…  Cheers

I too was very disappointed with Patterson’s D.  I hope he can fix it.

        Haha, cheers Bruddah.

PT is a good guy, he just overestimates his smarts by a long shot.

The problems is the defense. Really frustrating but it’s only game one.

PT really should not post so much. He needs to read way more than he posts. And until he does I’m going to continue to point out his idiocy. The board would be better off if you posted more football takes. You definitely know what you are  seeing during a fb game.

        cheers.

That O was playing against SJSU

those same plays and throws against A real opponent and we LOSE on Saturday

my expectations are we steamroll a team that doenst have one player usc would recruit

I was impressed with running game. I was not impressed with the passing attack at all.

If CLR is a qb whisperer why are his best QBs since Caleb named miller moss,  Jayden M and Malachi Nelson?

CLR has had the ball with a chance to keep the lead and win the game 4/5 times last few years and he doenst get it done.

he started super Mario over lemon and Duce Robinson.

clr wanted to keep grinch after I think two years of abs abysmal results

clr is 5-13 against ranked teams

JM was close to two pick 6’s against SJSU

spare me with he is beyond reproach and im stupid for questioning him

you guys are still blaming Darnold for being on 2018-2020 jets with no all pros or pro bowlers around him.
I’m seeing the truth beyond the elementary

First string beat SJSU 35-3 in 3 quarters.  All Maiava stats I previously stated were in 3 quarters.  Less considering they didn’t even throw the first drive.  they set a USC high in the Riley era by running 5 times in a half.  That would be  of the 3 quarters Maiava played.  And he still threw for 283.  191 passer rating.

You really are the SUCH AS girl

Just tell us you hate USC and have joined fraud and San C and Debeaner from the Shadows as someone who wants them to fail
