      These are numbers that CBS sports came up with via surveys and not directly from the school. I have read on multiple sites that USC is at $40 mill on the current roster. I’m only going to post the B1G conference number and the SEC but if you are curious about any other school , let me know.

      In the ACC its Miami alone at $40mill, no one else is close.

      It’s getting ridiculous, and I am suprised there is not more donor fatigue after a few years of this.  Buying a player for your university football team is just a weird flex, on its face.  Do these heavy hitters even have the time to watch the games?  I don’t, too busy spending my dough to really commit to that level of involvement with watching and attending sports, and I’m just some gnat compared to these guys.

      There are people out there with a lot of money. And they love their ego stroked by jocks and administrators. USC has a bunch of those.

      In my next life I want to be rich instead of handsome.

        Ugly and broke?? I would have to move to Fla, Texas or some other red state instead of living in my beautiful Socal! Imagine being surrounded by fat stupid broke people.

        No joke Pasadena.  Bruddah Balls is correct, a major % of the south general population are obese.  But, dang the SEC Co-eds are absolutely beautiful chicks.  Almost every ratings of beautiful college girls and the SEC wins all the time…  Cheers

      Well well well look at Bama.  They better find some rich Bama alumni.  Allegedly there are some, but they are notoriously cheap.

       

      Bama is going to slide if they don’t change something.  Georgia too.  Clemson already has slud lol

      I am curious how long Indiana’s sugar daddy Cuban wants to keep funding that program or if their alumni base is big and wealthy enough that they just woke a sleeping giant.

      Xlent post Bruddah Balls.  Read dat USC has spent about $37 M to $38 M for their current roster.

      Big difference, U. Hawaii roster = about $1 M.  No wonder all their top HS players leave.  UH players are scraping by with strict budgets.  Must catch da bus to get around.  Dang, the inequities of college FB.  Very unfair and sad.  Cheers

      The NFL has a salary cap; seems to work for them. Let the players go after endorsements and leave the schools out of it.
