Oh man, we are getting close to another season of Trojan Football, Let’s gooooo.
You can peruse for yourself but this is some of what jumped out:
1) TE Walter Matthews listed at 6-6 305. What?
2) Bruddah, Giancarlo Rufo is on the roster wearing a classic Poly number #583) GT2 favorite, Cash Jacobsen switched to OL.
4) King Miller added 15lbs to 225
5) Mark Bowman 6-4 245 is already at upper class measurables
A significantly beefed up roster if you believe the numbers.

ParticipantShaka young Bruddah GC Rufo made it. Dam, King Miller 225 lbs, hope it did not affect his speed? Xlent Mark Bowman bulk up with good lbs (+15). He is gonna produce as freshman. Great O threat (strong hands, very fast) and killer blocker. Thanxs Bruddah Balls for the roster info… Cheers

ParticipantFirst thing that popped in my head when I saw the Miller stat was exactly that, how will the extra weight affect his speed. Last year he was pretty much a one cut, foot in the ground and gone type RB. Contrast with Waymo, who is small and shifty and you have a nice change of pace combination. Let’s see if any of the freshmen push for playing time.
In a recent interview Maiava said that Bowman is his pick for the freshman that will make the most impact.

ParticipantBruddah Balls, Bowman has a killer mindset, very hard nose FB player. I’ve been saying this since last year; Mark is a great DE. He played both ways. Dang, he had so many sacks, OL could not handle his quickness & strength. I would put him in on 3rd downs, passing plays. He would give QB’s fits… Cheers

ParticipantHail King Miller. Dang we stole dis outstanding RB. Can you imagine he was only a 3* rated. Hell GM Bowden find more 3* RB dat run like KM. What a tremendous FB is King Miller.
Heck, got to give C. LR credit for getting KM. KM as a HS junior was a big lead for USC, his dream school. C.LR made him an offer. Dam, in an early pre-season game he gets a season ending (bad) injury. Many schools pretty much bailed recruiting him, but C. LR kept in contact and noticed his positive recovery. C. LR like what he saw and re-offered KM a PWO deal and KM took without hesitation. Good thing C.LR has an eye for talent and a good heart.
I think we are all big King Miller fans, Shaka… Cheers
PS. Thanxs Bruddah for his tape. Shoot, many of his runs went thru big holes. Kudos to the OL. I believe our OL is so underrated.
And, our OL should be even better in 2026. Now dat’s a Big Shaka…

ParticipantBB, I had scanned the roster but I didn’t notice Cash had switched to OL. Thanks for that update. There are two other 3 stars I’m high on from the last class. Taylor Johnson LB. He played at 200 lbs in HS and he is now up to 220. He is 6’1″ as I recall. His HS tape is amazing. The other 3 star is Andrew Williams, a 6’5″ DE that weighs 220. This kid is quick and fast, great HS tape. Lots of tackles for loss and sacks and he has only played football for two years.

ParticipantQB Jonas Williams listed at 6-1, 220 lbs. Eye ball tests, after seeing photos next to OL and DL he looks more like 6-2 +… Cheers
