      Bloom Center related story. USC Booster Brian Kennedy has sued USC for building the new football facility over the practice field bearing his name. Brian Kennedy is the founder of the company responsible for the billboards we see throughout the country. So Kennedy donated $400k  to build a football field with the agreement the field would bear his name in perpetuity. This was back in the Haden days. First of all, only $400k ? I would have gone “halfsies”  with Java if I knew it was that cheap. “BigBallss and Java Field “ , I have to think on it a little more to come up with something better. Or Maybe I would just have Daystalkers sisters name put on there. She is a sweetie. $400k buys you a three star DB these days,

      So anywho, apparently Kennedy was quite the meddler. Even as far as suggesting which players should play and who should sit. The final straw is that Haden promised him Coach O would be hired but went with Sark instead. This caused Kennedy to become an LSU booster, even famously calling USC football dog shet. The new administration gave him the cold shoulder and built the Bloom Center building right on top of what was Brian Kennedy Field, which according to his lawsuit caused him to” great pain and humiliation “.
      First of all, USC is always about the money.

      USC has Hollywood Jew lawyers.  Like they will always find a loophole. Always screw you and always win.  Ask the coliseum commission about that.  After you shake hands with USC lawyers you better count all your fingers before you leave

        Hell yeah. I’d have to put ego aside and have your name go first. Sounds better. But you put in $250k. I always find it interesting how smart people think alike, are drawn to the same articles and such. And the small brains do the same. They find each other.

        $400k? Pffff, I lost more than that in one day on Wall Street. Or back when I had my mortgage company. Hell I probably spent more than that to watch birds fawk.

        USC is not to be played with when it comes to money. This Kennedy guy is litigious for sure. I have seen articles where his company bullies people and even cities that challenge his billboard locations. A bully with money is dangerous.

        yeah.  I’ve lost 400k probably each of the last 6-7 trading days.   Luckily for me I still make my 20-70k a week on my calls.  Selling calls at way high prices on stocks that are falling like a rock is a good way to make easy $ and stash some.  The losses are on paper.

        oh here’s some irony.  The option $ I’ve been stashing?  Guess how much cash I have now?  $400k.  Let’s call Jen and buy a field.  Based on Mr kennedys experience we will be able to keep our names on there for what?  25 years?   20?

        maybe I can put my company website on the gate and wind up with some business.  Maybe it will pay for itself.  Maybe I can put my picture up and start recruiting my next wife.  If she’s born yet.  You never know.

        Bigballs Java’s field?  that’s alphabetical.

        if they think that’s not family friendly we could throw in an extra 20k   For me that’s just one more Friday   For opportunity zone it might be a whole year of social security    Anyway  20k just appease USCs family friendly concerns because if there’s one thing that mollifies USC concerns about controversy or publicity   It’s cold hard cash    Helps them sleep better at night knowing they sold their souls rather than having given them away

        LMAO. Now, THAT is the best line if the week.

        You have a nice system going. How many hours a week do you spend working on trades?

        In 2009 I lost a buttload of money. Probably over a million bucks that year. I was pretty bummed. So I go tell my wife, “ hey batten down the hatches we are going to go thru a rough spell, I lost a ton of money in my investments “.  Her response was epic, “ ok, don’t worry about it, what about the times you made money by the truck load. “

        I learned to never be afraid to lose money, scared money don’t make money as the hip people like to say. Fear of losing money is what stops most people from investing. I try to be smart but never afraid. The pot of gold is behind the shadow of fear. Go get it. Looks like you take the L’s in stride, it’s part of the territory. You play football, you’re gonna get hurt at some point. Same with investing.
