Thanks to a couple of highly-ranked 4 stars (a CB and a WR/CB) who committed yesterday, Oregon is up to #3 in the rankings per 247, #1 in the B1G.  TAMU and ND are ahead of my quacks currently.

Likely have one more coming, #6 WR Xavier Sabb who is committing tomorrow (good to see UCLA as a finalist in this one!)  And #11 LBer Brayton Feister likely committing as well later in July.

Battling it out with ND for #21 DL Brayden Parks currently.  Looks like ND has the lean at this point – parents want him closer to home, he wants Oregon.  We quacks know only too well how this one will end up…lol!  Oh well.

Also looks to me like USC and Oregon switched roles for the 2026 and the 2027 recruiting classes:

In 2026 Oregon had the better-quality class (92.21 vs 91.40), though lower ranked than USC.  (USC ended up #1, Oregon #2 in the nation.)

In 2027 USC will likely have the better-quality class (currently 91.57 vs 90.65), though lower ranked than Oregon.  (Currently, Oregon at #3, USC at #14.)

I didn’t want to rain on your Trojan’s parade last year while celebrating the #1 ranked class, but I feel most would favor an overall better-quality class over a higher-ranked class.

At least this pato would….  🙂
