KeymasterNever thought I’d see the day. Clearly USC should have just taken the ncaa to court and found a local Orange County USC judge toissue injunctions

ParticipantHow many fans upset by this ruling have been clamoring for Pete Rose to be in the HOF? They don’t see the similiarities. Mind boggling.

ParticipantShows how judge shopping will be the end of this Republic.
Most liberals cheer it on when they do this to a
Duly elected President.Suicidal empathy will ruin us all. And yes it’s Happening.
It’s Tolerance of the intolerable.
Love how the kid gets no penalty. Besides very bad PR.
Tech won the battle but they are losing the war.Judge said not allowing the kid to play will ruin his opportunities. So arresting someone for committing a bank robbery is bad for the crook?? Make it make sense. You can’t.
And yes the integrity of the game also matters. Where is their voice?

ParticipantRead this case on another news (can’t read Yahoo sports). Yeah, crazy sheet. I’m sure the judge was bribed ($100 K ?) I’m sure the NCAA is gonna fight it. I do not think the judge ruling will stand…. Cheers

ParticipantThe betting is getting completely out of hand. I have so e buddies that are into that i. The worst way, they literally place hundreds of small bets a week, and on really obscure stuff, like over/under on shots taken by a team in the 2nd period of a hockey game, or stuff like that. They tell me it is just the “new” fantasy football type sports craze, and since they bet so much they never end up losing, they always win “something”. Like a penny slot, you always “win” something back on your bet. You still lose, but you didn’t. It is all consuming. It’s really sad.

ParticipantFrom the commercials I see on TV, it’s not betting anymore. It’s trading.

ParticipantIt just amazes me all the brain-dead idiots who see gambling advertisements during sporting events that think it’s ok for a sports participant to gamble. Frankly, those people are just taking up oxygen, and if breathing wasn’t an automatic response and required thinking, they’d be dead, and there a lot of them too!
