Participant6 of the top 10 players in the state will Fight On.
7 of the top 13 players will Fight On.
Domination guys.
The fence is being built and the only thing that can stop us is we are running out of spots. A LB, an interior o lineman and a QB.
By the way 2028 is looking promising.

ParticipantSo just taking a guess on the remaining targets. The LBer from Oxnard and the OT from Hawaii?? You said IOL, but maybe the Hawaii kid is being looked at as a guard….

ParticipantInterestingly, the LB from Oxnard is no longer expected to take an official. Seems we backed off of him. Wafle just got a visit from our coaches last week so that says he is still in play.

ParticipantYeah Bruddah Balls, for almost 3 months Phelps was a 97% lean to Zona, but this weekend it changed to 96% to San Diego St. When he appeared on USC Big Board, I said a NO on dis kid. Saw him 2 times and felt he was just an OK RB and LB (played both ways) for Pacifica HS, Oxnard. I think it’s down to Satele, Hawaii or Dylan Waffle, Conn.
Looks like USC cooled on him a long time ago and even Zona… Cheers

ParticipantGood info. I thought I remembered someone here who said he was a player. Maybe it was said on another board or recruiting vid.

ParticipantI remember your comment on Phelps, you weren’t sold and you are being proven right. Satele isn’t coming to USC my Bruddah. I am reading that Cal might actually pull win the Satele battle. I don’t know why but USC hasn’t pushed for him and it could be that Satele didn’t show interest. His last time on campus was last year. USC didn’t even invite him to junior day on campus. Too bad, I like him. LB recruiting is a mystery, makes me think we will be looking in the portal for a LB.
Satele just released his list, big bag schools and Cal. Don’t sleep on Cal.

With the commitment of DB Gavin Williams, USC has 14 players. Target class size 18 and according to Java’s thinking maybe 22 players? Let’s go with the 18 players class that leaves 4 more rides. Looks like USC top guy is da Hawaiian OL, Bertola. If they strike out, USC may just play the wait and see game for under da radar players emerge during the season and shop the TP.
OL Isaiah Bertola, Hawaiian. Seems like he is 60%/40%, Cal/USC. Cal has 2 Hawaiian AC’s and few Hawaiians on da team.
LB. Daylan Waffle (Luke Waffle’s brother), Toa Satele-Hawaiian, or Isaiah Phleps.
QB. Big ?
4th ride. No clue ?
From what I’ve seen, the 5 major USC pod-casters are pretty good with team news, rumors and predictions. And, many times/shows, they are giving their personal opinions without any inside info from coaches or GM Bowden. WW board has a good R source in Bruddah Big Balls.

ParticipantWhen we lived in Canyon Country, I thought how C. Welch would have done as a college HC? Around 1986 (he was 41 yrs old), I asked him why not go after some college job? He would make much more money. Coach replied, he thought about it. But, he and wife was not concerned with making more money, that they liked the simple life in Canyon Country (living in California) and loved being an English teacher. He loved teaching, coaching and molding HS kids.
All I know his college teams would play physical, hard nose FB like, Indiana (C. Cig), Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio St, UGA, Oregon, Texas Tech, OU). Of course he would need a top OC, but he would coach the D. Knowing C. Welch, I believe he would have done well and become a top college HC… Cheers
