      Bruddah LA Duck I want to chime in with your post about Oregon’s recruiting strategy.  No question you guys, coaches and GM have done a Great job of player evaluation, development and landing top FB players.  Yep, you guys are a National R power house (getting top players from all across America). Money is a big reason, but there are other things.  Your coaches and GM are Xlent talent evaluators, targeting A+ FB players.  Heck, every year your coaching staff is top 5 in nation.  You guys have been fortunate when a HC leaves, your replacement have been good hires (complete coaching staff).  Unlike USC, BS hires, (losers) have been problematic and major downfall.

      Your state of art sport facilities is a Big Plus.  Also, having 15 different nice uniforms is a plus as well.  In short, I believe Uncle Phil’s money is a big reason for Oregon’s FB success, but there are many other things why you’re getting top FB players.  I have great respect of Oregon’s FB program (since da late 90’s to now).  In my eyes, no question you guys are a Power House FB program.  Congrats Duckies…  Cheers

        Bruddah Tee, shoot C. Cignetti is the main and only reason Indiana won the NC.  C. Cig is one hell of a HC and has been successful everywhere he coached.  He hired A+ AC’s and shopped the TP hard.  Heck, Indiana lost a lot players from their 2025 championship team, but C. Cig got about 18 top TP players dat should pick up the slack in 2026.  They will be a top 12 team, not sure if they will make the CFP for the B1G.  Ohio St and Oregon will be the B1g reps.  Hoping USC is the 3rd team?

        Hell, I think UCLA got a super HC (Chesney); I’m betting C. Chesney will turn around da Bruins FB program quickly in 2 yrs, my guesstimate…  Cheers

      Thanks for the kudos, Bruddah Butkus!

      Just like it’s unfathomable for a quack fan to live a day in a Trojan’s shoes basking in the continually-present delight and respect coming from decades of amazing college football accomplishments and national championships, I think it’s also unfathomable for a Trojan fan to generally understand what it was like to live in college football darkness and dreariness most of your days as a fan of a program who only very recently begun to have an actual pulse and one that HOPEFULLY may perhaps even win an actual national championship some day – just ONE!

      Really such a contrast between two very opposite fanbases – makes this board super fun!! Thanks for being a really great part of it, Butkus51!

        You should have been a politician my friend.  You know I wish your ducks all the best. LOL!  Your ducks are regulars in the playoffs whereas my Trojans are zero for whatever.  I’m jealous.  May TEE’s curse continue.
