IMO he should have stuck with number 30.  Every SC fan knew that number as being King Miller’s number and there is room for an SC Heisman winner with the number 30.  Thoughts?

      There’s still room for a #8, too.

Yes, there is room for #8, but consider the tradition which young men these days overlook.

Reggie Bush wore #5 his whole time at SC.  Charles White wore #12 his whole time.  Palmer #3 his whole time.  O.J. #32, Marcus Allen #33, Leinart #11, etc.  King Miller #30, #8, #?.  IMO Miller is making a big mistake due to his youth.  It is what it is though.

kids are fascinated with single digit numbers GT2. It’s a status thing for them and now that he is not a walk on but a star, King wants his flowers.

Yeah, I think King Miller should have stuck with #30.  For me double digit # are for RB’s.  Famous RB that wore #30, Terrell Davis-Denver, Todd Gurley-Rams, Mark Van Eeghan-Oakland, Mike Rozier-Nebraska.

In HS, I played RB and wore #44.  #44 and #32 were worn by the great Jim Brown, #44 Syracuse (college) and #32 Cleveland (NFL).  My senior year, JB was a rookie at Cleveland, but I stayed with #44.  He was my idle…  Cheers
