Participant2026 Champs!
One of the most dominating wins in history for a NCAA WBB Final. An amazing group of players that reached the top of Wooden’s pyramid winning 37 games. Best inside outside team I’ve seen.
Two Big 10 teams in the National Championship game with Michigan playing Monday.

ParticipantLmao. Awesome display? This final 4 put women’s hoops back to pre Caitlin days. Games were literally unwatchable
7th grade boys would beat these champions.
- South Carolina was missing its two best players best player by a large margin (JuJu) missed the tourney.
- UCLA has one starter from CA. Jacquez
- UCLA’s champ was lightening in a bottle.
- GIANT human playing center. stayed Healthy all year. Great seeding.
- Senior laden.
- Key injuries to other teams.
- Key transfers (Betts, CL Walker Kneepkins and Dugali)
- three super seniors (CL Walker Kneepkins & Dugali) all played 5 years. Not sure how? Still covid?
- rice and Jacquez being very good college players but not wnba prospects also helped. They stayed all 4 years. True stars would have been drafted
- and great roster management. Additions & retention & staying healthy.
- and now their chip. no asterisks either apparently

ParticipantWhat a sour grapes post and you couldn’t be more wrong.
All 5 starters are top draft choices and your injuries excuse is getting old, but it’s interesting you state South Carolina was w/o two of their best players yet beat you by 40 pts! in the first round, and they didn’t have much trouble against a healthy #1 UConn. What’s your excuse for them?
Rice and Jacquez both 5* could not have declared earlier because of the 22 year old age rule genius. Regardless they all wanted to stay and win a Title.
The Bruins played the toughest schedule with the most Quad one games and wins than any other team by far. Dugalic would be a starting center on any team in the Country but was content with her role as the sixth player and she got player of the year for that role. 2 Final Fours 2 Big 10 Championships, a National Championship. They earned what they won suk it.

ParticipantFinal 4 last year was because JuJu got hurt and you avoided UConn and South Carolina. A Very favorable bounce.
I get the sour grapes post. And I’ll concede it. Big deal.
No I don’t know the 22 age limit issue. Seems insane the wnba and the nba could be so different. But again Favorable bounce that they couldn’t leave.
rice nor jaquez are considered franchise changers. Thats what I meant. Being a top pick in a weak draft doesn’t excite me. You ever hear of the nba? That happens all the time.
this ucla championship is like Cronins final 4 run. 3 or 4 OT wins. Great calls going your way. Refs giving Alabama two questionable fouls in two minutes. I said he wouldn’t repeat even when he returned all his starters and I was right. Plenty of people argued with me. As usual.
Remember when I was the first to start posting that stat padded Westbrook was being overvalued? 5/6 years later That one worked out pretty well too.
I don’t know who you are bringing in. I am just saying 5 senior starters and 3 super seniors in a down year for women’s game worked out very well. You may not like context but it is what is. CCs team would have ran you off the court. In fact they did with basically same Bruin team. Gamecocks Barboza would have been a fun match up vs Betts a few years ago.
As far as blowing out USC. Without JuJu Kiki And Avery Howell this team is a shadow of last years team. That team beat you 2/3 times. Get it now? You return everyone and no one gets hurt and good things will happen. that didn’t happen for USC at all.

ParticipantIt was a tainted championship because UCLA had seniors on the team according to Pasadena. The absolute butthurt radiating from him is yuuuge. Big, Beautiful Butthurt.

ParticipantPasadena, you’re wrong again and I’ll prove it then call it a day with this nonsense.
Your words: “ Final Four last year was because juju got hurt and you AVOIDED UConn and South Carolina”
UCLA PLAYED UConn in the Final Four WTF are you talking about? UCLA also beat JuJu’s ass in the Big10 championship game when you had Marshall and Iriafen in the post as well as guards Howell and Heckel who transferred out.
Those 2 interior players were key for SC and opened up a lot of opportunities for Watkins who is very good but she’s a streak shooter and gets the benefit of a friendly whistle when driving the lane. UCLA didn’t avoid anyone, and if SC had made it to the Final Four last year the two teams would have met again because they were on opposite sides of the draw.
Dude stay on course instead of head trippin with the Cronin, Westbrook rant that’s getting as old as Ju’s injury. You don’t see me bitching about UCLA’s Leger-Walker’s torn ACL out all of last year and Timea Gardiner lost this entire year.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>On ESPN tonight they are saying this UCLA team is one of the best in history to win a Natty. Cheers.</p> -

ParticipantIf you played UConn in elite 8 like us you would have lost. Which you did. Get it now?
so the first two wins that juju had don’t count? Only the one game lol? Like I said. They won 2/3!!
FWIW Gamecocks shot 29 and 13 percent from 2 and 3. They got blown out last year In natty too.

ParticipantAnd why do you think they shot so poorly? Was it because they were thinking ahead to playing against Juju next season and simply lost focus and bricked all the wide open easy shots that UCLA was giving them?
