That is true for everything but basketball. One of the kids is on a team that MUST wear Nike, but they are kind enough to give us a 30% discount. I don’t really see much competition honestly, maybe under armour or Moolah but those things are tanks and the girls refuse to wear them, so I guess I am the lucky parent who gets a deal on buying custom home and away Sabrina’s twice a year. I used to slay on the court as a youngster in my Magic Johnson Converse from Payless. My dad bribed me with a pair of Jordan’s if I got straight A’s and I did so got a pair, they were pretty crappy, but I swore they made me jump higher and run faster. Had them for like a month and went to the harbor with friends and saw a dead seal so we were Messing with it and I stepped on it and my foot went through into the body. Smelled so bad that my mom threw them away on the spot and I was grounded for a few weeks.
