      Will verbal to USC over Oregon. #6 player in California, Top 50 in the nation and 7th ranked CB in the land.

      USC is dominating the California top ranked players list.

        A lot of momentum with USC recruiting right now. As we know, momentum is both hard to initiate  and hard to stop.

        It’s called “MONEY”, Java.  Not a difficult concept.

        SC is finally learning to play the game the “right way” to get the best talent, not the most “noble” way, in this screwed up era of college football.

        BTW great get, BB!!  Would have LOVED to have nabbed Lang.

        As it is, Ducks are looking good on flipping #2 CB Donte Wright, and also to land #5 CB Hayden Stepp.

        Besides just the $$$, I think they see what true frosh CB starter Finney did last year and Oregon’s defense (#4 passing yards allowed, #8 pass efficiency defense, #7 total defense), and want some of that.

        USC finally got their money right and we are seeing the result.   A lot of Socal DB’s haven’t worked out at Oregon recently LAD. USC is using that against the Ducks in recruiting. Money being equal the home school always has the edge.

        Interesting!  I had not heard of that perspective before.  But yes, Oregon has been hemorrhaging 4* So Cal DBs to the transfer portal the past few years.  So that jibes.

        For whatever reason those CA DBs haven’t panned out.  Lanning still has not lost a single starting player to the transfer portal, only back ups.

        I’ve heard a lot of good things about Donte Wright.  It appears he would be a great get LA.
