USC basketball is cursed. Always has been, always will be.
2 steps forward. 3 steps back.
Doesn’t matter the recruiting rankings. Doesn’t matter the new arena. Doesn’t matter the money or the coach.
Some coach or player will always die or get in an accident or have a heart attack. Some new coach will run everyone off. Injuries will derail a season. Always something. They are as relevant to the LA basketball scene or the national scene as UCLA football is to the same. Irrelevant. Forever and Amen.
