An Iowa asst. ran onto the field and was yelling at the official. Another official flagged him for unsportsmanlike conduct. Don’t know for sure, but that asst. probably used some words that he shouldn’t have.
By rule, the only coach that can confer with the officials is the head coach. I saw him run right up to the official on the field. The foul iced the game for us.
By the way, the white hat official was a former Pac-12 official, I recognized him.
