Giants have made playoffs once since 2016 or 2017. And Colorado might be worst in league. Getting 10-12 wins a season against the Rockies is a nice bump. Arizona has just recently been good again themselves.
I was trying to point out the tough division foes as a driver. Like Tom Brady beating up on jets and Buffalo for many years but your point stands. I it is also thinking about the high number of inter division games which I feel historically used to be in the 20s but that has also changed a lot and is pretty low now. 13-16 I think?
But the theory is obv the weaker your division/opponents the easier the road.
