In their minds, if they can insult the Presidency,, then they are very important/successful people. It's not about Trump, it's them. Trump is merely a vehicle to demonstrate to the world, the world that they should be, and are, at the forefront of, that they are very, very important. The Grand Canyon is big,, why don't they say, "Fuck the Grand Canyon"? That'll show 'em. UCLA, inter alia, is not a place to learn, it's a place to be (not be at, but to be).
I initially thought $1b was over the top.
