What do you think Ballss? Time to find the cheapest pharma stocks and go HAM with volume? Highly doubt big pharma will do anything other than raise prices throughout the world to match US prices, right?

The reason prices are not higher abroad is that foreign governments set the price. Since Pharma can't raise those prices, it just might stop selling to countries with the lowest set prices. It costs $1B to bring a drug to market,, and only 1 in 1000 compounds pan out,, but their costs have to be covered as well. When was the last time the Republic of Congo developed a new drug?

And the price discrepancies are real, basically the US is footing the bill for all R&D as well as pump up the profits, while the rest of the world benefits by paying the lowest possible prices.
