When ford went all in on EV and even split the company into Like ford and blue oval. I was wondering what they were doing and if they truly wanted to go that fast.
Dealerships rejected Ford's demands on EV's in order to receive vehicles from Ford. Ford also made a huge mistake of removing all sedans except the Mustang from production in favor of large overpriced Trucks. Not everyone wants or needs an expensive large truck especiaally and electric one.
Oh I might. If Rivian had a 6 foot bed and didn’t run $100k I’d have probably bought one. They’re good trucks. Ford and Chevy ev trucks are too big. Tacoma and maverick don’t come in ev. And maverick has 5 foot beds
I owned a Maverick Hybrid for about a month. Built in Mexico with recall after recall and Ford's fixes were red neck garage fixes. Got rid of it and bought a Hyundai Santa Cruz instead. smaller bed but a much better built mini truck. Replaced my RAM 1500 Limited 4WD. Now I can get both my Truck and my Subaru in the Garage which was impossible with the RAM. Can't say enough good things about the RAM. It was a very good Truck and the Hemi was a good engine. Made a killing on the sale of the used Maverick. Got it OTD for $23,860 and sold it for $32, 470. saw a Rivian for sale a couple weeks ago, Ugly.
I like the rivian look. Especially the lights. The short bed gets me though. It had more storage than the maverick. Good to know about your ford problems. I’ve owned a few fords and my mustang is cherry but I’m not a big fan of them
Maybe I’ll buy a ev truck or hybrid in another 12 years as it appears I’m about to roll into another Tacoma. That would be 24-26 years of black Tacoma’s. My gosh how time flies.

Yeah. Doesn’t look that great now
No man wants to drive an EV.
